Wild Phoenix Adventures

Some places make you stop talking and simply look.

Picture yourself high above the Atlantic, surrounded by volcanic peaks and deep green valleys. You paddle beneath rugged cliffs, wander through villages where generations-old traditions are still alive, and scan the open water for whales and dolphins.

Now picture sharing all of it with women who understand what it takes to build a business and who are just as curious about the world beyond it.

Tenerife gives us dramatic mountains, ancient forests, and the moonlike volcanic landscape of Teide National Park. La Gomera takes us somewhere quieter, a world of terraced hillsides, deep ravines, and small villages where the roads wind into the island's rugged interior.

We'll hike up a volcano, kayak beneath sheer sea cliffs, and head out on the open Atlantic to watch for whales and dolphins. We'll cross the ocean by ferry to a second island, linger over local wine and traditional food, and hear Silbo Gomero, the whistled language islanders use to talk across the valleys. Most evenings end the same way, with a glass in hand and the sun going down, surrounded by women who will feel like old friends by Wednesday. We'll also set aside time for the Wild Phoenix Reignite Session, a chance to step back from the daily demands of your business and think about what you want your next chapter to look like.

A private van and professional driver handle every planned activity and transfer, so you can stay in the experience instead of navigating unfamiliar roads.

Arrive + connect

Tenerife | Welcome dinner

Your adventure begins the moment you land at Tenerife South Airport.

We'll pick you up during scheduled arrival windows and take you to our hotel, where you can settle in and leave the travel day behind.

That evening, we'll gather around the table for our welcome dinner. We'll pour local wine, swap a few stories, and start getting to know the women we'll be traveling with. By the end of the week, you'll have a whole collection of stories that started at this table.

Into the wild

Anaga Rural Park | Coastal hike + seafood lunch

Tenerife's wild north is a world away from the island's busy resort towns.

There's no early alarm today. After a slow morning to shake off the travel, we'll head into the mountains.

In Anaga Rural Park, jagged peaks rise above deep ravines, ancient laurel forest covers the hillsides, and small villages cling to the mountains above the sea. With a local guide, we'll hike through the forest and the mountain villages toward the coast.

Then we'll settle in for a long seafood lunch near the water. Think fresh Atlantic fish, local wine, tired legs, and a table full of laughter. A morning outdoors makes a long lunch taste even better. That evening, we'll keep it light with a shared tapas night.

Volcano to sea

Teide National Park | Ferry to La Gomera

We'll start the day on a volcano and end it on a different island.

Teide National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site built around Mount Teide, the highest peak in Spain. With a local guide, we'll explore lava fields and towering rock formations in a landscape that feels almost like another planet.

Then we'll grab a snack on the go, head down toward the coast, and board the ferry to La Gomera. As Tenerife fades behind us, our next island rises out of the Atlantic, green and rugged against the horizon. Tonight, we'll settle into our new home and enjoy dinner near the water.

Reignite

Coastal kayaking + Wild Phoenix Reignite Session

The morning belongs to the ocean.

We'll kayak along La Gomera's volcanic coastline, exploring its cliffs and coves from sea level. If conditions allow, we'll stop to swim or snorkel.

After lunch, we'll gather for the Wild Phoenix Reignite Session. This is time set aside to step away from the demands of running a business and ask the questions that get pushed aside when life gets busy:

  • What do you want more of?
  • What are you ready to leave behind?
  • What have you outgrown?
  • What would you change if you gave yourself permission to think beyond what's practical or expected?

We'll trade ideas, talk honestly about the realities of entrepreneurship, celebrate what we've built, and help each other see possibilities we might miss on our own. There's no required outcome and no pressure to leave with a grand plan. Sometimes a fresh perspective is all it takes to get things moving.

The rest of the day is yours. Wander through town, find a café, read a book, take a swim, or choose your own spot for dinner.

The heart of La Gomera

Northern La Gomera | Village hike + traditional food + Silbo Gomero

Today, we'll walk into the quiet heart of the island.

With a local guide, we'll hike from village to village through ravines, terraced hillsides, and ancient laurel forest. Our exact route will depend on conditions and our guide, but the goal is to experience La Gomera far beyond its coastal towns.

Along the way, we'll sit down to a traditional Gomeran meal. Depending on what's available, we may taste watercress stew, smoked goat cheese, and almogrote, a savory spread made from the island's own cheese, with local wine from grapes grown on steep volcanic hillsides.

We'll also hear Silbo Gomero, a whistled language developed to carry across the island's deep ravines. UNESCO recognizes it as Intangible Cultural Heritage, and it remains part of the island's living traditions.

Into the Atlantic

Whale and dolphin watching + ocean time + wine tasting

Our last full day on La Gomera takes us out onto the water.

We'll board a small-group boat along the volcanic coastline in search of whales and dolphins. If conditions allow, we'll stop to swim or snorkel in the Atlantic.

Back on shore, we'll taste La Gomera's own wines, including those made from the island's forastera grape, before our final meal on the island. Then we'll take the ferry back to Tenerife.

Once we're settled in, we'll gather for our farewell dinner. The last evening of a group adventure is something special. The inside jokes have arrived, the stories have multiplied, and the women you met a few days ago don't feel like strangers anymore.
